Experience an afternoon sail on the water along the Torrevieja coast with us. Soak up the sunshine and holiday atmosphere onboard Island Breeze; a 12m catamaran with a Dutch crew who speak English, Dutch, German and Spanish. This excursion is a delightful way to enjoy the afternoon, with departures at 5pm as the sun is still hot and the water is calm. Perfect for swimming from the bespoke swim deck, or enjoying the paddle boards or snorkels and masks onboard.
This catamaran is a Fountain Pajot 38, a sleek design with a hammock net on the front and a seated table area at the back. There is plenty of space for relaxing, sunbathing, swimming from the boat, or for moving around. It is great for couples, solo travellers and groups – bring a friend, or family or come and meet new people. We have a large trampoline net and plenty of beanbags in the front to recline on. You can even choose your own music playlist and use their bluetooth sound system as you cruise along the Torrevieja coast! Relax on deck, have fun in the sun! There is plenty of space to soak up the sun and enjoy a sail with us.

Step onboard and find yourself a spot in the sunshine, then relax as we introduce our crew and boat and then sail out of the marina. We go with the waves, so depending on the sea we travel north along the coast past Torrevieja or south towards Punta Prima. You can enjoy the views of the coast from the water while relaxing onboard.
After around an hour of sailing we take a break to swim, jump from the swim deck, snorkel, and enjoy the SUP boards on anchor. This is usually outside the marina walls by the beach so it is safe for children and for our guests to jump into the water. Here you can try using our stand up paddle boards (SUPs) and also get back onboard via our two steps in the back without any problem. You can bring drinks and snacks onboard with you, relax on board, or take a dip in the water. Sunbathe on our big trampoline net or bean bags, or simply enjoy the table dining lounge area on deck. Bring your own towel if you would like a swim, and don’t forget your sunscreen!
Children are of course welcome, but adults must supervise them onboard and especially in the water. We have a number of inflatables and floats onboard, and of course child life jackets.
Please note, if you have mobility issues we are not a fully accessible boat – feel free to get in touch with us if you have any questions, we are always happy to help!
For our sunset tour we meet 10 minutes before sail time at Marina Salinas, our dock is a few minutes walk from Bar Mosquito and Wakeboarding, Puerto Vel Bar (formerly Bar Bacanal), or Les Planches restaurant. Our boat is on Pontoon F – will meet you there at the security gate. Paid parking is available next to the boat berth (not included). From bus stops it is a 20 minute walk.
Please note, you must be physically able to walk a short plank onto the boat, and small children must be carried. Our staff are happy to help people with mobility issues but there is no wheelchair access, unless you are able to make a short distance on foot with assistance.
There are toilets on board the boat, but we recommend you use the facilities in the marina before boarding. We will give a safety briefing before we set sail and explain the use of the toilets. Our bathrooms are below deck so not accessible to wheelchair users.
We will motor out of our marina to the open sea where we will sail along the coast. On a hot day there is certainly nothing better than to feel the sea breeze. Afterwards we will enjoy some time on anchor behind the marina wall to have a swim, paddle, or something to eat where there aren’t any waves. Feel free to bring whatever drinks and snacks you would like to enjoy. We have a cooler onboard that you can store your drinks in.
Following our trip we will return to the marina berth, while enjoying the views on the way. Once we are safely roped into our berth, you can disembark and enjoy the day in Torrevieja. There are several bars and restaurants in Marina Salinas that are open every day such as Mosquito bar which has great views as well as the town and beaches to explore.

We had a great afternoon my children and husband had never been on a boat trip before and absolutely loved it especially jumping off the boat into the sea.
