Making you feel at home onboard are our Dive and Sail Instructor, Captain Larry, our dive-master and lifestyle coach Dicky van der Windt and our dive-loving Bookings Manager, Zoe.

Meet the team onboard – Captain Larry!
Often found eating bananas and chilling in the shade, Larry loves being at sea, and beneath it. Our Dutch Captain became a sailor and scuba diver 10 years ago, so he could enjoy the water from above and below. He has worked in the Caribbean, Indonesia, Thailand and Egypt, and couldn’t resist returning to the sea to feel the breeze in the sails.
His love of scuba diving took him traveling around the world, and his love of boats made him decide to run sailing and diving trips in Spain. Not a bad place to spend your days.
He is a qualified PADI Dive Instructor, and RYA Sail Instructor and has taught in Bonaire, Mexico, Thailand, Egypt, Indonesia, and Netherlands. He speaks Dutch, English, German and Spanish (with a funny accent).
His favourite Places in the world are Bonaire, Gili trawangan, Thailand and Cabarette
He is a safe pair of piano playing hands to sail you along the coast, and also mixes a decent cocktail at the end of the day!
Meet the team onboard – it’s Dicky!
With a lust for travelling, she has for sure seen most of our planet, Dicky visited 140 countries during her travels around the world, very impressive!
Dicky gives interactive workshops and health and wellness training.
As a lifestyle coach she has worked on cruise ships and taught people all over the world how to become a better version of themselves.
Her favorite places to be in the world are:
- Maldives
- Hawaii
- Borneo
- French Polynesia
- St. lucia
After leaving the Netherlands to feel the winter sun – all she wants now is subtropical climates, white beaches and palm trees, luckily for us there is a lot of that around in Torrevieja.
She speaks English, Spanish, Dutch and German.
It’s Zoe!
Zoe loves the sea and warmer climates like no other. When the temperature drops below 27 degrees, she is seen wearing a hoodie.
She is a qualified RYA Day Skipper and an Advanced Open Water scuba diver, so she can sail and dive.
Zoe has worked in tourism in Europe for over 15 years and can advise you on hotels, restaurants, local highlights, and all things travel. After working in marketing for hostels, tour groups, and luxury hotels, Zoe met Larry in Egypt scuba diving, and Larry suggested she tried running a boat business, so she packed her fins and joined the Island Breeze team in 2023.
Her most memorable places in the world are:
Mexico, Maldives, Sipadan – Malaysian Borneo.
Zoe speaks English, Spanish, some French and a little Italian. Good luck understanding her Dutch!
